Typically 10 to 20 grams per square metre for a precautionary treatment, more in snow or a prolonged freeze. We adjust the rate to the forecast.
Can you grit while the car park is busy?
We treat most car parks overnight while they are empty. For 24/7 sites we work around traffic with banksmen and hand-spreading where needed.
Do you treat multi-storey car parks?
Yes. Top decks and ramps are the most exposed, so they usually get priority.
