Gritting services for Derry / Londonderry businesses
Derry~Londonderry is the North West's largest city, with Altnagelvin Hospital, Ulster University's Magee campus, retail parks and industrial estates on both sides of the Foyle. Hilly streets and car parks on the slopes above the river make ice a real risk for staff and visitors.
Because Derry / Londonderry is close to the coast, many winter nights hover just above freezing. That makes the decision to grit harder, not easier, so we forecast your site individually and treat whenever surface temperatures are expected to reach your trigger.
